Carnevalli started its activities in 1962, producing extrusion groups for a variety of applications such as : mono and multifilament, tubes, pipes and hoses, profiles, and electric cables coatings. A few years later on, Carnevalli experimented enormous success with the introduction of machines destined to the production of woven polyethylene nets.

To face the huge demand for polyethylene packaging, in 1966 Carnevalli started to build single layer blown film lines to process low density polyethylene. The technological evolution acquired in this period enabled Carnevalli to build also machines to process raffia from polypropylene.

In 1976, Carnevalli fitted for the first time  its blown film lines with “rotating die heads” to meet stringent technical demands for the production of tubular polyethylene  films.

The year of 1979 represents to Carnevalli a historical Mark, when the blown film extrusion line model E-40 was launched, destined to the production of high density polyethylene films, with an enormous sales success due to a market avid for packaging manufactured from high density resins, and Carnevalli gained a great share of the demanding market.

At the beginning of the nineties, Carnevalli moved its facilities to Guarulhos City, sited in the huge metropolitan area of São Paulo City. This new and modern industrial plant occupies an area of 25.000 m2, with an impressive machining shop equipped of many CNC controlled machining centers of latest technology, and counting with a skilled team of engineers and designers fully trained to design and develop  newer machines with the help of modern 3 D software tools for design and simulation, a well trained after-sales team joined by a dynamic commercial structure, able to meet different requirements of customers of a variety of flexible packaging segments, from all continents of its marketing presence.

In 2002, Carnevalli renewed its entire line of products launching the POLARIS family of single and multilayer blown film lines, for higher productive capacity and lower energy consumption. Carnevalli also builds and supplies, as part of its portfolio, C.I. flexographic printing presses, “AMAZON” series, recycling “CR” lines and, as a late introduction, the “STIRAFLEX MDO” machine, destined for film mono-orientation in machine direction.

Market leader in Brazil and Latin America, with constant presence at the main exhibitions throughout the world, Carnevalli is proud to be a solid company and reliable partner for its customers, counting over 3,000 extrusion lines already installed and serviced, and exports around 40% of the total output to many countries in Latin America, North-America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
