Winders

Carnevalli builds winders in a variety of sizes and  versions to meet the different requirements of its blown film lines and applications.
The winders may be simple, manual versions (model 410) in single or double back-to-back winding station versions and also full automatic winders, (model 425), PLC controlled , synchronized with the machines general management systems.
Winders  425 , in single station version, or in double back-to-back versions, are fitted with automatic transversal cutting systems, automatic roll changing system and roll discharge to the soil ,or pallet, or carriage.
All winding stations, and pre-nip stations, are driven by variable speed AC motors and frequency inverters, with tension control via potentiometer or load cells, for accurate tension control. A variety of features may be added, such as air shafts loading magazine, automatic robotized systems for shaft extraction from the reels, etc.
Special versions are available, such as Jumbos style winders, shaftless winders for thick, gusseted and 8 times folded layflat for agricultural film applications, and so on.

Winder 426 Suprema

Designed  for high precision winding of superior quality technical films, winders 426 SUPREMA present a high technological content, for gap and surface winding modes, with a dedicated software module for accurate tension control via load cells, laser beam for accurate gap control, gearless drive with HighTorque servomotors with high precision encoders, perfect axial stability control and many other relevant features, and are particularly versatile to wind “tricky” films, such as:

Thin and very elastic films, based on LLDPE or EVA;
Stiff films, that includes  PA or EVO-H;
Thick films, even gusseted, eliminating ubiquitous folds that usually appear at the beginning of winding  of the rolls;
    High COF films such as metalocenes or LDPE without additives, that usually present problems such as “air pockets” or indentations at the edges of the rolls;
Films with high content of additives, that may be very “ slippery”, and usually develop “telescopic effect” problems on produced rolls.
